Base Shoe / U-Channel

A continuous, minimal foundation for uninterrupted glass and open views.

System focus / 01

Adjustable base shoe, resolved from profile to glass.

A representative continuous aluminum channel designed around accessible clamping, controlled alignment and coordinated finishing parts.

02 / Engineering detail

Engineered around the installation.

Adjustment, water management, optional lighting and coordinated components are considered as one system.

Adjustable glass railing base shoe with vertical and lateral alignment
01

Adjustable alignment

Top-access clamping supports controlled glass height and lateral alignment during installation.

02

Drainage planning

Profile and project-side water paths are coordinated with the slab, waterproofing and outlet strategy.

03

Optional integrated LED

Selected base-shoe and handrail configurations can accommodate serviceable architectural lighting.

04

Coordinated kit

Profiles, clamping elements, covers, anchors and compatible fittings are prepared as one supply package.

Water needs a designed path.

Drainage is coordinated with the profile, slab edge, waterproofing layer and project outlet rather than treated as an isolated product claim.

Two base-shoe water-management concepts
01

Internal profile path

Water entering the channel is directed toward coordinated drainage points in the profile.

02

Project-side discharge

The surrounding balcony or terrace build-up provides the controlled route to the approved outlet.

Installation reference

Four moves. One clear sequence.

Four-stage base-shoe installation sequence
  1. 01

    Prepare the profile

Set out, fix and prepare the channel around the approved substrate and water-management details.

  2. 02

    Position the glass

Place the support elements, gaskets and laminated glass in the referenced assembly order.

  3. 03

    Align and clamp

Coordinate panel height and lateral alignment before tightening the top-access clamping system.

  4. 04

    Finish and inspect

Fit covers, confirm joints and drainage paths, then complete the project-specific inspection.
